Made From Pewter

The Cufflink
The cufflink is said to have originated in the 17th centre, when men wanted something other than ribbons or laces to tie their shirt cuffs together
Initially the men began to wear small chains (links) which were faste3ned to the end of a golf or silver button and then fed through the holes of the cuff, thus pinking the two sides together. Such materials could only be afforded by the prosperous and wealthy gents.

Over time the cufflink developed and became a sophisticated item in a man's wardrobe. In professional circles the cufflink was seen as a less outrageous was to express one self. Over the years the cufflink has faded in and out of fashion stakes, however there has been a huge resurgence ni the cufflinks popularity. Cufflinks are to be found in many shaped and seize and are a popular fashion statement for men and woman alike.

None more so than our range of Celtic cufflinks, We at Links To Scotland stock a variety of cufflinks to meet even the most disconcerting customer requirements
